Face & Neck LiftFacelift or rhytidectomy is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of ageing on the face and neck. As individuals age, the skin and muscles of the face region begin to lose tone. The facelift cannot stop the process of ageing. It can improve the most visible signs of ageing by tightening deeper structures, re-draping the skin of face and neck, and removing selected areas of fat. A facelift can be performed alone, or in conjunction with other procedures, such as a thread lifting, browlift, forehead lift, liposuction, eyelid surgery, nasal surgery or other surgery of the face or elsewhere in the body. Facelift surgery is individualized for each patient. The best candidates for facelift surgery have a face and neck line has begun to sag, but whose skin has elasticity and whose bony structure is well defined. Not all patients are suitable for this procedure, and a consultation is required to assess your suitability, medical history and general health & fitness, and to allow you to discuss the procedure including risks and complications with Dr David Topchian. Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second medical opinion. Consultations can be arranged by appointment by calling the Endless Solutions on (03) 9681 7311 or Make an Online Enquiry. |
