Breast Augmentation Using SAFER Breast Implants

Endless Solutions makes breast augmentation safer with accredited plastic and cosmetic surgeons trained in breast augmentation. Our highly skilled and experienced team work with you to determine the best approach, size, shape and type of implant based on your anatomy and preferences.

Enhance Breast Contour, Shape & Size

There are many reasons why women choose to have breast augmentation. Breast surgery is suitable for women seeking to:

  • Enhance breast contour and enlarge their breasts;
  • Restore breast size and shape post-pregnancy;
  • Balance breast size and correct asymmetry;
  • Correct partial or total loss of the breast(s) after disease, trauma, or mastectomy; and
  • Replace existing breast implants for either reconstructive or cosmetic reasons.

Quality breast surgery should leave you with natural looking breasts that enhance your sense of self and body image. At Endless Solutions, we take the time to carefully assess your individual needs, ensuring you get the most satisfying results, under the safest conditions.

Choosing The Ideal Breast Implants For You

Whilst our surgeons are experienced in utilising a variety of breast implants, our preference is to use a safer polyurethane foam covered silicone gel implant, known as “super-furry” Brazilian breast implants, to minimise the risks and complications associated with breast implant surgery.

Super-furry Brazilian implants get their name from their polyurethane foam covering that feels like suede or fur. Many years of use overseas has shown that covering silicone gel implants with a polyurethane foam surface may reduce the risk of capsular contracture to between 1 and 2%.

One of the most common complications following breast implant surgery, capsular contracture is the result of membranes growing around the breast implant, causing them to become firm or hard, and resulting in implant shape changes.

With up to 19% of women who choose standard silicone implants experiencing capsular contracture, reducing the risk to just 1% makes you 20 times less likely to form a capsular complication.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is capsular contracture?

The body treats any implant as foreign matter, surrounding it with a layer of collagen to isolate it from the rest of the body. Whilst in the majority of cases this thin layer of scar tissue, known as a capsule, will form around all breast implants, severe thickening can occur, resulting in an undesirable change in the feel and appearance of the breast.

Should I have implants in front, or behind the chest muscle?

The best position for your implants depends on your body shape, skin type, breast tissue and desired result. During your consultation, your surgeon will help you to make this decision, clearly outlining the benefits of breast implant placement.

How long is the recovery time?

Recovery after breast augmentation is important for both your health and the results of your surgery. Everyone’s recovery time is different, but most people typically return to work around 3-7 days post surgery and are exercising again in 3-4 weeks.

Some discomfort when lifting the arms above the head is experienced for some weeks following surgery. Activities involving work above shoulder height do not need to be avoided, but should be undertaken carefully and slowly to minimise inflammation and pain.

How long does the surgery take?

Most breast enhancement surgery is completed in as little as 1-2 hours. You will be placed under a general anesthetic for your surgery, which means you’ll be asleep throughout the procedure.

What should I expect of the surgical procedure?

Breast enlargement surgery is conducted in an operating theatre under a general anesthetic by a fully accredited specialist anesthetist. During the surgery your breast tissue is filled with local anesthetic to minimize the amount of blood loss and pain following your procedure. Gentle gauze bandages and waterproof dressings are applied so that you can shower following your surgery.

Are there risks involved in having breast augmentation surgery?

Whilst considered a generally safe surgical procedure, there are potential risks and complications associated with any surgical procedure including; bleeding, infection, scarring, reaction to the anesthetic or medications and pain. The risks of surgery will be explained to you during your consultation.

Am I a good candidate for breast augmentation?

Your individual circumstances will determine your suitability for breast augmentation, but a good candidate for breast augmentation is someone over the age of 18, is of good health (no infections) and is not pregnant or breast feeding. It is important to discuss any previous health conditions, medication use and whether you are a smoker with your surgeon.

Do breast implants alter my risk of breast cancer?

The risk of developing breast cancer is unchanged by breast implant surgery.

Some recent studies have shown that patients with breast implants may be able to detect breast lumps during breast self-examination earlier and when the lumps are much smaller. However, these studies also found that investigation by standard routine mammography of any breast lumps is hampered by the presence of breast implants. Alternative screening tests such as Ultrasound or MRI scanning are needed to fully investigate any breast irregularities.

Can I breast feed following breast implant surgery?

The placement of breast implants will not affect your capacity to breast-feed.
